Rajat Sarkar Engineer by training, musician by passion, mentor by choice. With a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA, Rajat Sarkar built a distinguished 34-year corporate career, including 18 years in India and 15 years overseas, culminating in the role of Global Business Head. Alongside his corporate journey, Rajat nurtured a lifelong commitment to music, studying Western Violin through Trinity College London and embracing the Indian Bansuri flute with equal devotion. He has played the violin for over 30 years and the flute for 25 years, and has taught both disciplines for more than a decade—guiding learners in India and abroad. A seasoned performer, Rajat has graced national and international stages, collaborated with eminent Bengali and other Indian artists, and composed music for vocalists and full-length songs. His creative pursuits culminated in the release of a complete original song album, with every track written and composed by him. Rajat holds a special place for first-time learners—especially children and elderly adults—who are finally embracing their “long-cherished dream” of playing music after life’s demands held them back. With empathetic teaching and deep-rooted passion, he empowers each student to discover the joy of self-expression through music.
